De PopcornHour A-210 - powered by Sigma Design chipset 8643 - maakt deel uit van de laatste generatie Full HD multimedia spelers, ontworpen voor de laatste nieuwe High Definition bestanden zoals MKV, Bluray.iso en BDMV bluray structuur. De PopcornHour A-210 doet dit vanaf een optioneel zelf in te bouwen interne SATA HDD, een externe USB HDD of een netwerkschijf via SAMBA, NFS streaming of een PC netwerk share.

De HTML gebaseerde GUI (gebruikers interface) is erg duidelijk en eenvoudig te begrijpen. In tegenstelling tot de meeste Sigma Design gebaseerde spelers gebruikt PopcornHour (powered by Syabas) zelf ontworpen firmware: de eigen ontwikkelaars kunnen veel beter inspelen op de wensen van gebruikers. Deze werkwijze resulteerde al in vele internationale awards en additionele connectiviteit zoals third-party media servers, apps, jukebox en usenet download client mogelijkheden.
